Service Description
Achieve smooth, radiant skin with our Dermaplane Facial. This treatment includes cleansing, exfoliation to remove dead skin and vellus hair, followed by a calming mask, serum, and moisturizer. Ideal for enhancing texture, reducing fine lines, and brightening your complexion Info for client: It is a skin treatment that uses a scapel to skim dead skin cells and hair from your face. Dermaplaning aims to make your skin’s surface smooth, youthful and radiant. It is recommended every 3 to 4 weeks. Each time you get dermaplaned, you are removing about 2 or 3 weeks worth of dead skin cells. Additional Information: Contraindications for dermaplaning: - Active Acne: Presence of pustules or cysts. - Open Wounds or Skin Lesions: Any cuts, scrapes, or active wounds on the treatment area. - Sunburn: Recent or severe sunburn on the face. - Rosacea: Severe cases can be aggravated by dermaplaning. - Inflamed Skin Conditions: Such as eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis. - Skin Infections: Bacterial, viral, or fungal infections. - Recent Chemical Peels or Microdermabrasion: Within the past 1-2 weeks. - Recent Cosmetic Treatments: Such as Botox, fillers, or laser treatments within the past week. - History of Keloid Scarring: Or other abnormal scarring. - Severe Sensitive Skin: That reacts strongly to minor irritations. - Active Herpes Simplex (Cold Sores): On the face. - Use of Accutane: Within the past 6 months. - Bleeding Disorders: Or use of blood-thinning medications. - Recent Surgery: On the treatment area.
Cancellation Policy
To ensure a smooth experience for all clients, please review the following policies before booking: 1. Cancellation Policy We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. 2. No-Show Policy Clients who miss their appointment without notice will forfeit their deposit. A new deposit will be required to rebook. 3. Late Arrival Policy Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule, and the deposit may be forfeited. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals if time allows, but this is not guaranteed. 4. Deposit Policy A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure certain appointments. This deposit is applied toward your service total unless forfeited due to late cancellation or no-show. 5. Refund Policy All service sales and deposits are final. If you have concerns about a service you received, please contact Skin 8 Spa within 48 hours. 6.
